Almost everyone over the age of consent has or wants a credit card these days and they are taken in almost every establishment. There are three main types of credit card in use in America. The first major sort of credit card is travel and entertainment cards such as American Express or Diners Card. These have to be paid completely at the end of the month and are liberal on spending limits.

‘Flexible friend’ or ‘plastic money’ are two of the most widespread informal phrases used to refer to credit cars in the English-speaking countries. These are pretty affectionate terms and most people are glad of having a credit card or two. There are also people who cannot trust themselves with a real credit card and they usually use pre-paid cards, which means that you have to put the cash into the card’s account before you can draw any money out. These are obviously not credit cards as the holder does not get any credit. Debit cards are similar to this.
